Our 13-day ‘On Safari in Sri Lanka’ tour is absolutely perfect for nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts. It’s also great for fun loving families. Sri Lanka has an incredibly high concentration of national parks and also a region of untouched primary rainforest. It’s home to an extremely high density of wild elephant and leopard, and has a huge variety of migratory and endemic birds. Our trips aims to take in some of the best parks Sri Lanka offers, and because the island is so small, it means you don’t have to travel too far. Our trip takes in Sinjaraja, a magnificent biosphere and the only remaining primary rainforest on the island; Uda Walawe, a wild area home to elephants and Yala, a coastal national park with a great population of leopard. The trip also includes some time on the beach to observe wild sea turtles and blue whales. This really is an extraordinary journey and is the perfect alternative to the more expensive African safari.
